Octoraro lodge has over 1500 active arrow men who donate hundreds of service hours annually to help maintain Horseshoe Scout Reservation and encourage camping in Chester County Council. The lodge is honored to host and maintain the websites for Camp Horseshoe and Camp John H. Ware the 3rd. We hope that this site will answer some of your questions about our lodge.Please feel free to browse our site and send us your feedback. If you have an idea for some information that you would like to see posted, please contact the appropriate lodge committee member or adviser and encourage them to send it to us and we would be pleased to post it on the site. Reminder for Out-of-Council Campers |
The summer camping season is coming up and troops will be having their tapouts at summer camp. This is a reminder to those troops that are camping outside of Chester County Council, you are required to have permission by us to have a election/tap-out by another lodge.
